Acceptance of the terms
Please read these terms before using the website of the “Parks for Generations” campaign. By accessing and using the site, you agree to comply with these terms. The operator reserves the right to modify them at any time, with changes taking effect upon publication on this page.
About this site
The site is part of the “Parks for Generations” campaign, carried out by Conservation Carpathia Foundation in collaboration with the Ministry of Environment, Waters and Forests. It has a purely informational and educational purpose: it presents Romania’s national parks and the importance of nature conservation. The site does not sell products or services, does not process payments, does not allow account creation and does not collect data entered by visitors.
Intellectual property
All materials on this site — texts, graphics, iconography, trademarks, photographs and videos — are the property of Conservation Carpathia Foundation, its partners and their authors, and are protected by Romanian and international copyright law. The photographs and footage from the national parks were created, among others, by Dan Dinu and Cosmin Dumitrache; the communication concept belongs to Agenția Pastel.
You may access and consult the materials for personal, non-commercial use, retaining all copyright notices.
The following are prohibited: resale or commercial use, public distribution, republishing, creating derivative works, automated data extraction (data mining), unauthorised downloading and mirroring of the content on other servers, without the prior written consent of the rights holders; uploading, entering, processing or storing the presented documents in any unauthorised public cloud-storage service or in platforms based on Artificial Intelligence or similar databases; using the site for illegal or fraudulent actions; using automated systems (bots, scrapers) to mass-download the database without permission.
Trademarks
The logos, names and slogans of the campaign and of Conservation Carpathia Foundation are protected and may not be used without prior written consent.
Links to other sites
The site may contain links to external pages (for example the official websites of the national-park administrations). We do not control their content and assume no responsibility for the information, products or privacy practices of third-party sites. Use of these is at your own risk.
Links to this site
Other sites may link to this site provided they do not suggest false approval or association, do not portray the campaign in a misleading light and do not contain illegal or offensive material. The operator may revoke this right at any time.
Accuracy of information and absence of warranties
The materials are provided “as is”, in good faith and for educational purposes. We make efforts to keep them correct and up to date, but we do not guarantee that they are complete, accurate or error-free at all times. Rules on visiting and access to parks may vary — we recommend checking the official information of each park before travelling.
Limitation of liability
Use of the site is at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, the operator and its collaborators are not liable for any direct, incidental or indirect damages resulting from the use of or inability to use the site or the information on it.

We reserve the right to modify the content of the site and these terms at any time. The applicable version is the one published on this page.
Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Romanian law. Any disputes shall be resolved amicably or, failing that, by the competent courts in Romania.
